In McChurched, Stan Moody tells us of the "Thousand Points of Light," avision that could be bursting from candles of faith flickering from thechurch for all to see. Moody reflects how little light and how muchdarkness is being displayed in the influence of this new moralisticwave. Nevertheless, Moody has long believed in a Church in Exile-acommunity of faithful believers no longer at home in McChurch. Moodycalls us to dis-arm-from arms of fear, defense and destruction-to armsof faith. Moody's message is that in every community in today's Americathere are "A Thousand Tongues of Praise." He offers this for theirencouragement. Author Stan Moody of Manchester, Maine, is an ordainedBaptist minister with a Ph.D. in Theology.
